SSC has invited application of Combined Higher Secondary Level
Examination(CHSL) 2014 for the recruitment of Various post for LDC and DEO.
Dear Candidate SSC has invited
application for the post of Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry Operator for the Various
departments working under the Central Government of India. Every year SSC(Staff Selection Commission)
conducted the examination CHSL for the recruitment of LDC and DEO in various
department under the Centre Government of India. SSC has invited the application on
19-07-2014. Last date for the submission
the application is 15-08-2014. Candidate
may apply only line as well as offline also. There are following link by which
candidate can apply application for the post of LDC and DEO.
Eligibility:
The SSC has invited an application of CHSL 2014 for the candidate who have
passed the 10+2 or secondary level examination. Candidate who passed 10+2 can
appear in the above examination.
Scheme of Examination: SSC will conduct the CHSL 2014 exam every
year in two Stages.

Skill test or Typing Test
In
written examination there will four subject
1.
Reasoning and analytical ability
2.
Quantitative Aptitude
3.
General English
4.
General Study
Each subject
contain equal marks that is 50. So written test will be of 200 Marks total.
There will be
of 0.25 marks deduction for every wrong answer and there will be 120 minute for
written examination.
The Candidate
who qualify in written examination will be appeared for the Skill Test and
Typing Test. The Candidate qualify in DEO and LDC both cutoff will have to be
appeared in both skill test and Typing Test.
Skill Test for the Deo:
There will be
a skill test for the student who qualify the cut off marks for the post of DEO.
Candidate will
have to be type 2000 to 2200 impression in total 15 minutes(35 minutes for the
VH and PH candidates). Computer system
and the keyboard will be provided by the SSC during the skill test.
Typing Test for LDC:
Candidate who
prefer for the post of LDC should have an typing speed of 35 w.p.m (word per
minute). A total 1750 keys will be given
for the typing in 10 minutes only (30 minutes for the PH, and VH candidates).
Typing test
and Skill test will have no marks it will be of qualifying nature. Candidate
who qualify in the skill test and typing test will considered for the final
result. There will be a 5% mistake will
be allowed in both skill test and typing test.
Grade pay:
DEO grade pay= 2400.
LDC grade pay= 1900.
Final result will be concluded on the basis of marks in
written examination and qualification in the skill test and typing test.
CHSL 2013 cut-off
marks:
In Written Examination= DEO-127 and LDC 122.50.
Final Cut-off= For the
Deo-142.75 and LDC-135.75.
